This
page is a work in progress. As time goes on, I wish to
bring to you the best of what the prolife movement
has to offer in terms of appropriate prolife rhetoric,
counseling, medical attention, delivery homes, legal
assistance, and to educate the public on why Roe should
be reconsidered by the Courts and on reconsideration,
modified as being contrary to the values found in the
Constitution.
NEW No woman should have to die as a result of pregnancy, but then no fetus should have to die as a result of a pregnancy it did not create. Thus, a woman has the right to defend her life, safety, and health with reasonable force, and deadly force only if reasonable. The balance is thus: the decision is hers, in consultation with her medical, spiritual, and parental advisors to terminate the pregnancy in self defense at a time and in a manner that saves both lives, if at all possible, realizing that it may not always be possible to save both. Implicit in Gonzales v. Planned Parenthood, 550 U. S. (2007) (Upholding Federal Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act.); Ayotte v. Planned Parenthood of N. New England, 546 U. S. 320 (2006)(Upholding New Hampshire Parental Notification Statute) The prolife movement is, and ought to remain, a non-violent movement which seeks to protect all life but most importantly women during pregnancy, and the unborn. Any person believing in the sanctity of life should not shed blood. While defense of a person actually threatened may be called for from time to time, acts of random violence will only turn off the public as to the basic message that the prolife movement seeks to present -- peace; protect life; protect the mother; the unborn is life; the unborn is a member of posterity; protect the unborn. |
